Passionate about helping people “find their voice”, Kayte empowers people through awareness and better communication.


With a background in performing arts, business and law, Kayte works with executives and managers from a wide range of industry sectors.


As a lawyer Kayte has worked in employment law (representing both employers and employees); commercial transactions; intellectual property, entertainment and family law. She has appeared in Local and Federal Court matters in NSW and QLD.

Gemma Banister



Gemma holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts (Politics and International Relations) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Notre Dame. She also has a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.

There are many different areas of law she is experienced in,  including property law, commercial law – primarily the sale and purchase of business, criminal and traffic matters and construction law. Appearing in both Local and District Court matters.


She is excited about using her legal skills to help the community and has been volunteering at the Marrickville Legal Centre evening advice clinics.


Client Relationships

With a background in theatre (performer, producer, administration, and box office/customer service) and structural drafting (bridge design), Stephen has always been about ‘putting it all together’.  


Having worked with, and admired, Kayte in a previous career, he is hoping to bring some of that focus to Customer Relations to assist in her mission of giving people a voice.



Administrative Assistant


Graduating high school in 2015 from MLC Burwood, Sophie moved to the country town of Bathurst where she studied a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism and International Studies).  Since finishing that degree in 2018, Sophie began another degree at the University of Technology Sydney, where she is studying a Bachelor of Laws, with majors in media and family law.


Sophie’s role within Voice Lawyers is an administration assistant.
